Peel began in the summer of 2019 at Legion Park Farmers Market in Miami, with a simple goal: create a cleaner, better alternative to the traditional soft serve sold in stores.

After connecting with local fruit suppliers, we saw firsthand how much perfectly good fruit goes to waste. Bananas stood out, not just for their creamy consistency, but as one of the most commonly discarded fruits.

So we built Peel around them: transforming overlooked bananas that never made it to grocery stores into a simple, whole-fruit and whole-food soft serve.

We opened our first Peel shop in summer 2023 in Miami Shores, Florida, bringing our vision into a permanent, community-driven space.

Our mission of sustainability is stronger than ever. We use whole fruits across our soft serve, smoothies, and açaí bowls, rescuing perfectly edible bananas that would otherwise go to waste and transforming them into something intentional and delicious.

What started as a simple idea has grown into more than just a storefront. In addition to our shop, Peel operates as a mobile events and catering experience, partnering with beauty, wellness, and luxury brands to bring our product and our purpose to new audiences.
